Badlands Whitetail Hybrid Pack

The new Badlands Hybrid Day Pack is the cornerstone of their White Tail Series and it brings the best of two hunting styles together.  When it comes to organization, the Hybrid is second to none.  It has so many pockets that we don't think anyone has bothered to county them all.  However, it is the way these pockets are set up that really makes the difference.  Every one of these pockets is accessible from just about any angle a good Geometry Major could think of.  But, as we all know, it is not just about the pockets.  It is about creating a good system where everything works in unison, and the Hybrid certainly does that.

The "1-Minute Rundown" on this pack:
In usual Badlands style the suspension is complete overkill.  You would think you had to haul 200 pounds with this thing (on don't you wish).  Although, one of our favorite things about the pack was the addition of the rear pocket featuring the new Badlands Zip-No System, which allows you absolute silence while accessing your gear.

About the new Zip-No System:
We are in the midst of witnessing a revolution and we are not talking about a mild skirmish, this is a full blown, "change everything" sort of deal.  To give you an idea of how huge this is, we will sum it up in just four words - no zippers, water tight.  If that has not peaked your interest, then you need to check your pulse!  This new zipperless system is the culmination of 8 years of excruciating persistence, in an effort to produce the ultimate closure device.  It has been dubbed the Zip-No and was developed by Badlands.  What they have done is figured out a way to turn Rare Earth Magnets (which are the strongest on the planet) in to rope like strands.  These strands are then sewn everywhere a zipper would normally be placed.  However, now all pockets can be opened silently with one hand and closed with just a tap.  The seal is so tight that it keeps out both water and dust.
