Bushnell Onyx 200CR Handheld GPS
The
top-of-the-line GPS in the Onix 200 series has an upgraded 2.7",
320x240-pixel full-color LCD for incredible mapping detail. This rugged
GPS unit is capable of displaying navigational information, and can also
display detailed topographic maps and aerial photographs of an area. In
the GPS mode, the Onix is a 12-channel, WAAS-enabled receiver capable of
saving 500 waypoints, 20 routes and 20 trails. Night mode lets you read
it in the dark. Rubber armor wraps around the case, and it's waterproof
to IPX7 standards. The unit includes a basemap of the United States, but
you also can download topographic maps and aerial photos from your
Internet-equipped computer onto the included 32MB internal Flash Memory.
Screen layering capability can superimpose maps over aerial images for
unmatched visual aid to navigation. A customized user-profile feature
facilitates easy configuration of the unit for different users or
varying forms of navigation. Set one profile for hunting, one for
boating, yet another for over- the-road satellite image navigation and
more. What's more, the Onix is surprisingly easy to use. Complete
instructions and a software tutorial will quickly have you familiar with
the operation of the unit. The Onix 200 CR comes with a USB cable to
connect the unit to your computer, a quick-start guide, and a CD-ROM
with software to save and manage your topo maps and downloaded aerial
photos.
